About Upsilon Pi Chapter
Upsilon Pi is a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa that is allocated to John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois.
Upsilon Pi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa holds weekly meetings, regular fellowship and fundraising events, as well as scheduled times to accomplish Phi Theta Kappa duties. Our duties are numerous, as they include projects designed to inspire team work and scholarly research, encourage college completion, involve students around campus, enhance the community college experience, and more. Check out our calendar to see what we're doing now!
Our meeting times are every Wednesday at 1:30 in room B48. If you can't make the meetings, don't think you can't still get involved! We want you take advantage of the wonderful things PTK has to offer. For this reason, we will work with your schedule, and keep you informed on upcoming activities and progress with the chapter.
If you can't make the meetings, but want to stay in touch, please send an email to [email protected], and our secretary, Brandi Husch, will gladly keep in contact!

As mentioned, our Phi Theta Kappa duties are numerous, and we need all the help we can receive to get things done! Every year, we are required as part of the 5-Star program to submit a College Project and Honors in Action Project. These projects can be time consuming and there is plenty of work to go around, so don't think it's too late get involved! If you're interested in helping out with this years College Project and/or Honors in Action Project, send us an email, and click the button below to read more information on what these projects entail.
In addition to these projects, our chapter submits a yearly scrapbook, travels on many PTK adventures, holds fundraisers, and so much more. So, get involved, be active, grow as a person, and enhance your Phi Theta Kappa experience with Upsilon Pi.
