The fools! Don't they know how dangerous it is for someone like me to have a blog? I mean, think of all the damage I could do with one blog post, no, one paragraph, no, one sentence!
Lets back up. My name is Drew Hans and I was born in a small town called . . . wait, that's to far back. Lets just go back a few months.
So May 2013, our Phi Theta Kappa chapter Upsilon Pi got new officers. We have Anna Buetow, President; Brandi Husch, Secretary; Ashlee Sanders, Fundraising Coordinator; Kristi Fleming, Vice-President of Fellowship; Europe Doan, Vice-President of Public Relations; and me, Drew Hans, Vice-President of Membership.

We were all brought together thanks to our former chapter President Christina Boyce. She worked really hard and took on a lot of responsibilities by her self to make our chapter great. I guess that devotion to Upsilon Pi rubbed off on us because we are now obsessed with everything Phi Theta Kappa! Each officer of our chapter has spent countless hours and put forth a tremendous amount of effort towards our improvement. It's been slow going but we are making progress!
So that brings us to this website (and my reason for posting this blog). Our Vice-President of Public Stuff, Europe Doan, started putting together this little site about two months ago with the goal of improving communication within our group and with other chapters.

I'm glad you asked! The idea behind having a website is that it will allow us to put all of our information in one place and make it easily accessible for both current and potential members.
That's also what the blogs are all about. Most members don't meet us until right before or after the semester's induction ceremony. We want to change that. It's our hope that these blogs will become an icebreaker that helps members feel more connected with our officers. Think about it for a minute, stalking somebody online for a couple of weeks makes talking to them a whole lot easier. Am I right?

Well, that about sums up everything I wanted to talk about. I hope this blog post was informative and kept your attention. I tried to make this post as fun as possible with the word-plays and pictures. Leave me a comment in the section below and let me know what you think I could be doing better.
Thanks,
